BREEAM-certified sites

At DHL eCommerce, we care about the environment and take various measures to reduce our carbon emissions. That is why our new sites are gas-free and we generate energy using solar panels. Charging stations power our vehicles. We are making the existing sites more sustainable by using LED lighting, and insect hotels provide homes for little friends. We try to think of everyone.

Our measures on the road

We are taking various measures to reduce our carbon emissions. To achieve this, we are implementing several intermediate steps. For example, around 2,500 delivery vans are already electric, and we use HVO100 (a sustainable fossil-free fuel produced from waste, residual oils, and fats) where needed. The first electric trucks are already on the road, and we encourage our customers to use smart delivery options.

Reducing carbon emissions, offsetting residual emissions

We are taking various measures to reduce our emissions. Any residual carbon we emit is offset through our corporate programme, which all our business customers use. Because initiating real change only happens by joining forces.
