In a rapid changing world, we stay ahead of the curve. Our IT & Digital departments in Utrecht make it happen. Together with 20 teams of around 250 employees, and alongside over 10.000 colleagues, we ensure that parcels and pallets reach their destinations for millions of customers.
Our team includes Scala and Java-developers (back-end), React-specialists (front-end). Alongside data engineers, support- and security-experts, UX designers, product owners, network engineers, and project managers work together to contribute to the largest logistics organization in the world. It seems so simple to develop software for parcel lockers, but the amount of possible error scenarios is vast. This creates a great challenge. Through research and monitoring, we continually improve our software. Velasco says, “I help ensure that our parcel lockers are online 24/7 and are rolled out nationwide in DHL style.”
